The CON-FERNO-M fire suppression system uses a thermal fuse made of a low-melting-point alloy, which automatically melts when it reaches its melting threshold.
The system is activated in two modes:
Automatic mode: When the hood’s temperature rises to the melting limit, the fusible link breaks and the system transmits a signal to activate the wet chemical spray immediately to extinguish the fire.
Manual activation: In case the fusible link has not been activated, it can be activated actively by pulling the manual activation pull station. The next system operation process is similar to that of the automatic activation mode.
When the kitchen fire suppression system is activated, it will automatically provide a signal to link to related systems such as gas/electricity/fan cut-off of the kitchen and other alarm systems of the building.
